Welcome
These terms cover your use of learn.bepeoplepowered.com and everything you access through it, including our online courses and services. By using the site, enrolling in a course, or purchasing a service, you agree to what follows. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
We've written these in plain language on purpose. You should be able to understand what you're agreeing to.
Who we are
People-Powered Solutions is a leadership development and corporate consulting business based in Moonbeam, Ontario, Canada. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to People-Powered Solutions. "You" refers to you, the person using our site or services.
Your account
Some parts of the site require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has gained access.
Please give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
Courses and access
When you enroll in a course, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the content for your own learning. You may not share your login, copy or redistribute the materials, resell access, or use the content to build a competing offering.
Course materials, including videos, worksheets, slides, and written content, belong to us and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to use them for your own development. You're not permitted to reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
Access is granted for the duration stated at the time of purchase. Where a course offers lifetime access, that means for as long as we continue to operate the course, not a guarantee of unlimited time.
Payment
Course fees are charged in full at checkout unless a different arrangement is clearly stated at the point of sale. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the amount shown.
Prices are listed in local currency, and clearly marked e.g. Canadian dollars (CAD). We may change our prices over time, but a change never affects a purchase you've already completed.
If you buy a course on a subscription or payment-plan basis, the billing schedule will be shown clearly before you commit, and you agree to those recurring charges until the plan is complete or you cancel in line with its terms.
Refunds
We stand behind our courses. If a course isn't the right fit, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full, as long as you haven't completed more than 25% of the content.
Digital downloads are final sale once you've downloaded them, since we can't take a delivered file back. Coaching and consulting are covered by their own agreement, described below.
If something has gone wrong with your purchase, tell us. We'll make it right.
Consulting and other services
Where we provide consulting, coaching, or other services, the specific scope, fees, and timelines are set out in a separate agreement or proposal. Those terms take priority over these general terms wherever the two differ.
What you agree not to do
Use the site lawfully and with respect for others. Don't attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, upload anything harmful, harass other users, or use the site for any purpose that breaks the law. We may suspend or close your account if you do.
Our content and yours
Everything on the site that we've created, including text, graphics, logos, and course materials, is our property or licensed to us. The People-Powered Solutions name and brand are ours.
If you post or submit anything to us, such as a comment or a testimonial, you keep ownership of it but give us permission to use it in connection with our business.
No guarantees of results
Our courses and services are built to help you grow as a leader, and we put real substance into them. What you get out of them depends on your own effort and circumstances, so we can't promise specific outcomes. Nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice for your particular situation.
Limiting our liability
We provide the site and our courses as they are. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our services. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us for the course or service in question.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario's consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to third-party sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or their practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our business evolves. The current version always lives here with its date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
